  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Clam Sauce

  • 2 dozen clams
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 0.25 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 0.5 cup white wine
  • 1 lemon
  • 0.25 cup parsley

    Add canned clams with their juice to the skillet and bring to a simmer. Cook for 5-7 minutes, until the clams are heated through and the sauce has thickened slightly.

    Add cooked linguine to the skillet with the clam sauce, tossing to combine. If the mixture seems too dry, add some of the reserved pasta water to thin it out.

    Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

    Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice, if desired.
